last saturday night ben and i participated in an event called Global Night Commute, sponsored by the people of Invisible Children. every night thousands of children walk from their home in the village to the nearest city sometimes more than five miles away, to save themselves from being abducted into the Lord's Resistance Army. it sounds too crazy to be true, but this is the reality for so many children who have nothing else to turn to. this is just the way it is for them. we want to help.
